SAFE's Financial Pledge

To get my finances in order, I realize I must do my part in order for God to do His part. I hereby make the following commitments:

  1. I commit to changing my attitude and lifestyle that has kept me in financial bondage, and I dedicate myself to becoming a good steward over what God has already entrusted to my care.

  2. I commit to using my faith to break the spirit of poverty and getting out of debt.

  3. I commit to establishing a surplus account by spending less than I earn and setting aside something from each paycheck.

Mission Statement

The Shiloh Alliance for Financial Empowerment (SAFE) will develop financial awareness and a solid financial foundation for Shiloh Baptist Church and community participants through education and training in the area of financial literacy.

Vision Statement

SAFE will provide a holistic approach to educate and train young people, young adults, adults, and seniors in financial literacy. SAFE will focus on basic financial principles and the use of financial tools and resources for the development of financial security and for wealth building. In addition, SAFE will offer forums for developing and maintaining sound biblical stewardship guidelines with an aim to improve the quality of life for individuals and families of the Shiloh Baptist Church and individuals and families within Plainfield and surrounding communities.
