Our Mission and Purpose

The Beautification Ministry is charged with insuring that the physical appearance of the Shiloh Baptist Church is an aesthetically pleasing and welcoming House of Worship thereby enriching the church through the spiritual aspect of beautification. They help show that Jesus Christ enriches our lives in so many ways by showing members the beauty that surrounds us and continues to shine through Him.

• Purchase and maintain all floral arrangements and displays in the sanctuary.
• Design appropriate displays (when required) in the sanctuary and around the House of Worship.
• Dress the foyer window with biblical themes or specifically named months like Black History Month or Women’s month for example, and/or significant nationally observed holidays such as Christmas or Easter
• Assist the leadership team and church ministries with decorative themes and ideas for church events and activities.
• Create floral displays, centerpieces, backdrops etc. to compliment and work in cooperation with ministry leaders or for special events
