Our Mission and Purpose

The Finance Ministry’s major areas of responsibility include the collecting, counting, vouching, recording, depositing and reporting of all of the church’s financial contributions. This is a process that takes place every Sunday, and during some special services and events. A team of finance committee members meet in the finance office to serve the church by processing the tithes and offerings of the congregation. Currently there are three teams that are operated under the leadership of two Trustees. Each team serves once per quarter. The Finance Ministry is committed to:

• Manage and maintain financial records that conform to generally accepted accounting principles and are in compliance with State and Federal laws.
• Develop and maintain effective and efficient financial reporting.
• Provide the Pastor and members with their financial information on a timely and meaningful basis.
• Provide quality service to the members; and safeguard the church’s assets..

Ministry Meeting Schedule

Team members are required to honor the Lord’s words in Malachi 3:10. The team meets on an as needed basis.
