Our Mission and Purpose

Our mission is to answer the question proposed in Matthew 25:36; when I was in prison did you visit me? Members of the Prison Ministry go behind the walls of the East Jersey State Prison to participate in the inmate’s Prison Ministry Worship Service. Shiloh members worship and pray with the men. We encourage their continued worship and praise experience through the Preached Word from one of Shiloh Ministers.

Upon release from incarceration, Shiloh welcomes the men to participate in our worship services and to consider becoming a member of the church body.

Ministry Meeting Schedule

The ministry joins service at East Jersey State Prison – Rahway once a quarter on Sundays.

OTHER DETAILS

Every church member attending worship services must take part in a validation process to become a certified volunteer. The validation process is repeated annually.
